LUCIA KLEŠTINCOVÁ

Lucia Kleštincová graduated with honours from Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava. In 2010, Lucia accomplished her MSc in Public Management and Governance at London School of Economics and Political Science.
Since then she has worked as public affairs and business consultant at an IT company PosAm, focusing in particular on software development for public sector clients (e.g. application for reporting of development aid flows to EU and OECD) and pro bono projects in education sector. In this role, Lucia has successfully contributed to stirring debate on insufficient responsiveness of universities to labour market needs.
Her endeavour gained yet another dimension when she joined Economic Policy Institute as Section Manager for Education Policy. In this position and supported by the Digital Champion of the Slovak Republic, she continues stirring youth towards technical education and promoting IT degrees via tailor-made campaign emphasising importance of digital literacy for each individual’s career.
