INTERNATIONALISATION OF EDUCATION
English is the language of the globalised world, the lingua franca of the 21st century, a tool of international communication and understanding. Statistics show that more than 3.5 billion people are acquainted with the language. English, as the language of international trade, work and media, is introduced into the every day communication of people around the globe, but it is itself also undergoing changes.
This conference aims to discuss the impacts of globalisation on communication, work and education in the modern world. Social phenomena such as multilinguism and internationalisation of education and work are influencing our everyday and economic activities.
The conference will aim to discuss the following areas:

Angličtina je jazyk globalizovaného sveta, lingua franca 21. storočia, nástroj medzinárodnej komunikácie a porozumenia. Štatistiky ukazujú, že v súčasnosti ovláda angličtinu viac ako 3,5 miliardy ľudí. Angličtina ako jazyk medzinárodného obchodu, práce a internetu preniká do ďalších jazykov, ale taktiež sama podstupuje zmeny.
