The paper outlines the basic statistical indicators of bidirectional mobilities of students, teachers and researchers; major regulations in the Higher Education Act and other regulations related to internationalisation of the higher education in Slovakia. In particular, it addresses legal modifications to the application of EHEA international standards in ensuring the quality of education provided. This will include a description of the current state of implementation of joint study programs and opportunities for their expansion.
